Felicity Jones is an British actress best known for the role of Jane Hawking. She played the part on The Theory of Everything, that was critically acclaimed. Jones is acting since the age of 12 and has been in many productions and TV shows. Her first role was in The Treasure Seekers, a television film. Following that she made an appearance as a character in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and Weirdsisters College. She played Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. In the following years, she was in a variety of films. In films like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she earned fame for her role. But it was her performance in The Theory of Everything' which earned her an Oscar nomination the very first time. Jones as Stephen Hawking's second wife in the biopic, was rewarded with a lot of praise both from critics as well as viewers for the way she depicted her. She was then seen in Inferno which was a horror film that starred Tom Hanks. In the year 2016 The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles announced Jones as the British Artist of The Year because of her talents and contribution to the cinema.
