Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on the 9th of August, 1976. She was the youngest child of four. Her parents, both a dental dentist and teacher, were aware of and supported their daughter's enthusiasm for theater and drama at the age of a stage novice. The support they provided was more than enough to combat her goal of becoming a an animal scientist. As a young woman, her rise to stardom was quick and accompanied by early recognition and success. Her career began in earnest in 1999, the year she first began performing professionally. After her studies, Tautou was a participant in the French television show for talent scouting called Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was a member of the church as well as the Institut Catholique de Paris during her childhood, but she is now separating herself from her childhood. In addition to her acting career, she pursued a modeling career. Also, she is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Recently, at the Arles Arts Festival she exhibited the collection of her photographs with the name Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on celebrity and fame, and turns the camera on those who scrutinized her following her sudden rise to stardom with Amelie as well as a series of self-portraits. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring part in the film Le Fabuleux in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie won international acclai box office success and received acclaim at awards galas across the world. Amelie has been the most financially successful French-language film in the US. In the years following the release of this film, Tautou starred in many films that ranged from British dramas up to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long Sunday de Faancailles. Then she moved into Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
